Case Study: Website

A website redeveloped to
meet all users’ expectations

Key services

Transparency International Australia (TIA) is part of a global coalition against corruption. They bring together governments, businesses, community organisations and the public to build stronger democracies. One of the key communication channels that help them in their work is their website.

Using data and stakeholder feedback, we rebuilt TIA’s website greatly improving the accessibility to information and overall user experience; whilst ensuring that the organisation’s branding shines throughout the site.

Strategic approach

Building a website is not just about creating a usable and good-looking platform. Every step in the creative process should be focused on accomplishing a goal.

By identifying these goals as well as the different user objectives the website needs to fulfil, Ooze Studios was able to develop a strategic design that became the cornerstone of the whole project.

Seamless user experience

People usually arrive at websites looking for answers to their questions and it is our job to help them find the information they need as quickly as possible.

One question we always ask when designing a website is: “How can we make things easier for the user?” Our solution is a well-planned information architecture and well-formatted content to ensure great usability throughout the website.

Enhanced load times

Speed is crucial when it comes to conversions. In fact, a typical user expects a page to load in two seconds or less. If your site takes longer, you’ll risk losing visitors for good.

We analysed the website’s speed performance and implemented time-tested optimisation solutions to increase visitor engagement and retention.

Stronger brand identity

Your brand identity is what separates you from the crowd. It communicates your organisation’s values and your mission. A website offers you a great opportunity to strengthen this identity and share it with your audience.

By choosing visual components and features that align with TIA’s brand, the new website is able to convey the brand’s story and vision more accurately and memorably to every visitor.

The redevelopment project underwent several phases including competitor analysis, UX research, and usability testing. This allowed Ooze Studios to design and redevelop over 80 web pages that are easy to use and relevant to all the users of the Institute.
